We are back from the weekend and are moving right along into another week.   I guess Cindy Sheehan was too busy this weekend to merit any news coverage.   Maybe her contract only covered through September. 

Our soldiers seem to be doing quite a job over by Syria.  God bless each and everyone of them!   The Shiite people of Iraq are still under attack by a group called, interestingly enough, al Qaida in Iraq, which I guess means that it is, in fact, Al Qaida that is trying to start a civil war over there still.  Hmmmm......  

 

Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it?

A Mom in America  

I'm calling it an early night tonight.  It's been a very long day here and difficult with the slow down from my treatment.  The days that are going to be hard to get through are here now.  Hopefully, within a couple of weeks I'll be feeling better though. 

 

Please keep the astronauts in your prayers tonight.  They should re-enter sometime around four am.  Pray for their safe return.  Also with your concerns, praise God for all that He did in bringing the crew of that sub to safety!  Miracles do happen and to see the British, Americans and Russians working together like this to a person of my age is a very amazing thing!

 

Check in with "the kids" if you get the chance.  Keep all of them in prayer!
